For home health and hospice agencies, accreditation can also lead to Medicare participation. ACHC holds deemed status from CMS for home health, so its deemed status survey results in both accreditation and a recommendation for CMS approval. CHAP also has CMS deeming authority and focuses only on care delivered in the home.

Our ACHC accreditation preparation starts with a readiness review against the standards for your service line. We then close policy and documentation gaps and rehearse the observations, interviews and document review that make up the onsite survey. After the survey, we help you write the plan of correction, which ACHC asks for within 30 days of the final survey report.
